I'm sure there is, however it most likely is based on version 3.x (3.7 or 3.3 or
such) Check the website (http://www.realvnc.com/) and scan for things like other
unix builds and such.

In the end, it should be possible to build your own, the source is available on
the website too.

IN the end, it only needs one binary for vncserver (`Xvnc`) and one for the
viewer (`vncviewer`). Others are (perl-) scripts.

I am in the USA and my daughter is in the UK. We ran VNC with her having the Server and me using the Viewer with no problems whatsoever.
I wanted her to access my PC so she installed Viewer and me Server [so effectively we both had Viewer AND Server installed]. When it first came up she was unable to access my PC but I could still access hers. After a reboot however I am no longer able to access hers.
When I fire up the Viewer it says about Auth configuration isnt done....and then that password hasnt been set [which it has] and then if I try again it flags up about security. Can u tell me what if any settings I can set to enable both viewing and server between both PC's. I have uninstalled and re-installed several times to try and correct the problem but to no avail. At the moment the program is UNinstlalled on both PC's.

Help Aprreciated
